New Delhi, September 10, 2025 – Diplomats of the Russian Embassy in India held a meeting with representatives of the Federation of Esports Associations of India and the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (#BRICSCCI).
The discussion focused on prospects for organizing international esports tournaments and enhancing cooperation through relevant associations. It was highlighted that hosting a BRICS+ Esports Championship in New Delhi, in connection with India’s BRICS chairmanship in 2026, could significantly contribute to strengthening ties among the countries of the Global South.
