New Delhi: The French Embassy in India has brought back its cultural initiative Rencontres du Toit du Monde with its fifth edition at the Alliance Française de Delhi. The event focused on celebrating Himalayan heritage and cultural connections through a special presentation on Buddhism and spiritual journeys.

This edition highlighted the journey of His Eminence Kalu Rinpoche (2nd), tracing his path through Buddhism from Paro in Bhutan to Paris in France. The programme explored how spirituality, art, and cultural dialogue connect different regions and societies, reflecting the global reach of Himalayan traditions.
The event served as a platform to showcase the cultural and spiritual links between the Himalayan region and Europe, emphasizing the role of Buddhism as a bridge between cultures. Through this edition, the French Embassy aimed to underline the importance of cultural exchange and mutual understanding rooted in heritage and shared values.

French Ambassador to India, Thierry Mathou, shared the update about the event, noting that the fifth edition of Rencontres du Toit du Monde celebrates spirituality, art, and cultural dialogue, while bringing attention to the rich Himalayan legacy.
