India held discussions with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, focusing on the progress of the India-Russia Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership as well as key regional and global developments.
During the meeting, appreciation was expressed for the update provided by Lavrov on various aspects of bilateral cooperation. The two sides also exchanged views on the ongoing situation in Ukraine and developments in West Asia.
India reiterated its consistent support for efforts aimed at achieving peaceful resolution of conflicts through dialogue and diplomacy.
