Mumbai, India: Access to a UK education is set to become easier for thousands of Indian students as the University of Bristol and the University of York prepare to establish campuses in Mumbai. The move adds to a growing number of UK universities expanding their footprint in India, enabling students to pursue internationally recognised degrees and world-class curricula without the need to travel abroad.

The development reflects the deepening education partnership between India and the United Kingdom, a key pillar of the UK–India Vision 2035 framework. By bringing leading British institutions closer to Indian learners, both countries aim to strengthen academic collaboration, enhance skills development, and nurture the next generation of global talent.
