Russian President Vladimir Putin extended warm greetings to President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on India’s Independence Day, praising the nation’s remarkable achievements and global influence.
In his message, Putin noted that India has attained “widely recognised success in socio-economic, scientific, technical, and other fields,” earning well-deserved respect worldwide and contributing actively to major international issues.
Highlighting the deep ties between the two nations, the Russian leader reaffirmed Moscow’s commitment to its “special, privileged strategic partnership” with New Delhi. He expressed confidence that joint efforts would further strengthen bilateral cooperation across diverse sectors, serving the interests of both nations and enhancing regional as well as global security and stability.
