Co-chaired by Colonel Zafaron Tokhirov, Head of the Central Department for International Military Cooperation, Uzbekistan, and Shri Vishwesh Negi, Joint Secretary (International Cooperation), Ministry of Defense, India, the 5th India–Uzbekistan Joint Working Group on Defence Cooperation met in New Delhi.
Enhancing defense and industry cooperation, cooperative training programs, capacity building projects, and exchange opportunities were the main topics of discussion.
Strong and expanding defense ties between the two countries are reflected in the friendly and warm environment in which the talks were held.
