Kazakhstan’s State of the Nation Priorities Presented in New Delhi

New Delhi, September 11, 2025 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to India, Azamat Yeskarayev, held a significant meeting with Charanjeet Singh, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs of India. During the meeting, Ambassador Yeskarayev shared key provisions from the annual State of the Nation Address delivered by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on September 8, 2025.

The discussion focused on Kazakhstan’s strategic priorities, with special emphasis on digital transformation, development of artificial intelligence, and attracting foreign investment. Mr. Singh expressed high appreciation for Kazakhstan’s forward-looking political initiatives, noting that these priorities would strengthen dialogue on advanced technologies, energy, and cooperation in transport and logistics.

Both sides acknowledged the significant potential for further growth in mutual trade and investment. They also highlighted the positive dynamics in comprehensive cooperation across political, cultural, humanitarian, and educational fields.

The diplomats emphasized the importance of enriching the bilateral agenda with practical measures, especially in view of upcoming joint events. An agreement was reached to maintain regular contacts and promote joint initiatives in areas of mutual interest, further solidifying the Kazakhstan–India strategic partnership.
