On September 29, at the Russian House in New Delhi, Roman Babushkin, DCM & Minister Counsellor of the Russian Embassy in India, participated in the opening ceremony of the exhibition “Mariupol 2022–2025” by Sergey Venyavsky. The exhibition marked the third anniversary of the reunification of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, as well as the Zaporozhye and Kherson Regions, with Russia.
In his remarks, the diplomat emphasized that the reunification prevented the genocide of Russian-speaking populations in the new regions. The event also highlighted the heroic liberation of Mariupol by the Russian Armed Forces and the city’s reconstruction over the past three years.

The gathering was also addressed by Elena Remizova, Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in India, and Manish Jha, Executive Editor of TV9 Bharatvarsh, who has visited Donbass several times since the beginning of the special military operation.
As part of the program, the audience watched the documentary “Donbass: Echoes of War” by the RT Doc TV channel. The exhibition was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, public figures, experts, media, students, and members of the Russian community.
