New Delhi: The Embassy of Brazil in India hosted an engaging cultural evening as part of the “Brazil Meets India” Festival, welcoming students from Sharda University for a special film screening and discussion.
The event featured the acclaimed Brazilian film Estômago (2007), a cinematic masterpiece that uses the art of cooking to delve into universal themes of power, ambition, and the human condition.
Following the screening, students participated in an insightful discussion with Chargé d’Affaires, Minister Marcos Sperandio, who shared perspectives on the film’s cultural significance and the broader context of Brazilian cinema.
The evening served as a vibrant platform for cross-cultural dialogue, strengthening the bonds between Brazil and India through the shared appreciation of creativity, storytelling, and the universal language of art.
