India and Russia Hold 5th Working Group Meeting to Boost Military Cooperation in New Delhi

New Delhi, October 29: The fifth meeting of the Working Group on Military Cooperation under the India–Russia Inter-Governmental Commission on Military and Military-Technical Cooperation was held in New Delhi on October 28–29.

The meeting was co-chaired by Lieutenant General Igor Dylevsky, Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, and Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, Chief of the Integrated Defence Staff of the Indian Armed Forces.

Discussions during the two-day session focused on strengthening ongoing defence engagements between the two countries and exploring new initiatives within the framework of the existing bilateral cooperation mechanism.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing the long-standing defence partnership between India and Russia, emphasizing the importance of continued collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
