Ambassador Ackermann participated at the 8th Session of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) Assembly.
The Assembly was held in New Delhi, India on 28 October, 2025. Hon’ble President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, addressed the Eighth Session of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) Assembly.
Stephan Hesselmann, Economic Affairs Counsellor from the German Embassy, also joined the Assembly and the technical side events as part of the German Delegation.
The Secondee from Germany at ISA, Mudabbir Anam co-moderated a Technical Session on “Powering the Circular Solar Future”, where Bernhard Kreuzberg, Project Director from GIZ India participated as one of the Panelists.
Mr. Kreuzberg elaborated Germany’s strong industrial capacity and solid legislative framework for the systematic growth of German circular economy and how the German experience can be adapted in global South for a sustainable solar energy transition.
