Dr. Ganesanthan Geathiswaran, Deputy High Commissioner of Sri Lanka for Southern India, attended the 6th Annual Dinner Gathering of the Sri Lanka Friendship Association of South India on 8 November 2025. At the event, he was honoured as an Esteemed Patron of the Association in recognition of his support and contributions.
The gathering also featured the presence of Mr. V. Mahalingam, IFS (Retd.), former Ambassador of India to Guyana, Antigua and Barbuda, and St. Kitts and Nevis, and the first Consul General of India in Jaffna, Sri Lanka.
Addressing the attendees, Dr. Geathiswaran commended the Association’s ongoing efforts and encouraged its members to continue contributing towards Sri Lanka’s development while strengthening cultural and community ties across Southern India.
