Armenia’s Economy Minister Participates in CII Partnership Summit 2025 in New Delhi

Armenia’s Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan, participated on November 14 in the CII Partnership Summit 2025, organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry. Delivering a welcoming address, the minister underscored the importance of strengthening Armenia-India economic cooperation and praised the long-standing friendship between the two nations.

Papoyan highlighted India’s achievements in innovation and technology, expressing confidence that the summit would foster new ideas and long-term partnerships. He outlined Armenia’s key economic policy priorities, including the development of a diversified, export-oriented, and innovation-driven economy. The minister also presented Armenia’s investment potential in several sectors, among them high technology, renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, agribusiness, tourism, and education.

During his remarks, Papoyan introduced the “Crossroads of Peace” initiative, aimed at establishing a modern network of transport, energy, and communication routes linking the South Caucasus with the Middle East and Central Asia.

The event brought together high-level officials from various countries, including economic ministers from nine nations, leading business representatives, and the President of the World Trade Organization.
