Moscow/New Delhi, Nov. 19 — Russia’s First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov met with India’s External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar on Tuesday to review progress across major areas of bilateral cooperation.
The discussions covered priority sectors such as trade, investment, finance, energy, and industrial collaboration. Officials also assessed the implementation of decisions taken during the 26th Session of the Russian-Indian Inter-Governmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical, and Cultural Cooperation.
The meeting was part of ongoing preparations for Russian President Vladimir Putin’s forthcoming visit to India, with both sides emphasizing the need to advance joint projects and further strengthen the strategic partnership.
