Around 164 Israeli Settlers Defile Al-Aqsa Mosque Under Police Guard

At least 164 Israeli settlers entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem on Wednesday morning under the protection of Israeli police.

According to local sources, the settlers entered the mosque in several groups through the Maghariba Gate and walked around its courtyards.

During their visit, rabbis gave them lectures about the site they refer to as the “Temple Mount.” Some settlers also performed Talmudic prayer rituals inside the mosque compound.

Meanwhile, Israeli police imposed strict restrictions on Muslim worshippers at the entrances and gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque. Many Muslims were also prevented from entering the holy site. The incident took place amid continued restrictions on Muslim access to the mosque.
