Moscow — Russia’s State Space Corporation Roscosmos is developing a new National Space Center (NSC) in Moscow that will serve as a unified headquarters for the country’s rocket and space industry. The complex is designed to bring together major design bureaus and aerospace enterprises under a single roof, aiming to improve coordination, efficiency, and innovation across the sector.
The centerpiece of the National Space Center is a striking 47-story skyscraper shaped like a rocket, symbolizing Russia’s space ambitions. The tower features a distinctive triangular silhouette and will be topped by a 288-meter spire, making it one of the most recognizable high-rise structures in the capital.
According to project planners, the NSC will not only function as an administrative hub but also as a center for research, engineering, and strategic planning. By consolidating key organizations in one location, Roscosmos hopes to streamline decision-making and strengthen collaboration within Russia’s space program.
Once completed, the National Space Center is expected to become a landmark of modern Moscow architecture and a visible representation of Russia’s long-term commitment to space exploration and technological development.
