Military operation in the West Bank: Woman injured in Al-Bireh, child detained from Beit Ummar

On Tuesday evening in the occupied West Bank, a Palestinian woman was injured and a child was detained during separate military operations carried out by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in different areas. The incidents occurred in the city of Al-Bireh, east of Ramallah, and in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Al-Khalil (Hebron).

According to local sources, Israeli forces raided the Jabal al-Tawil area of Al-Bireh and fired live ammunition toward residential homes. During the incident, a woman inside her home was injured by shrapnel. She was immediately taken to the hospital, where she received medical treatment.

The report also stated that in the central area of Al-Bireh city, Israeli soldiers opened fire without cause at a car belonging to a Palestinian civilian.

In a separate incident, Israeli forces detained a Palestinian child during an evening raid in the town of Beit Ummar. It was reported that soldiers stormed the child’s grandfather’s home and assaulted family members. Several civilians were also affected after being exposed to tear gas during the raid.

Additionally, the operations carried out on Tuesday evening in these areas of the West Bank included incidents of gunfire, raids, and detentions.
