ALIGARH, February 21: The Training and Placement Cell of Women’s College, Aligarh Muslim University, organised a career awareness session titled “Your Next Career Move: Driving Social Impact with the Teach for India Fellowship,” encouraging students to explore leadership-driven opportunities beyond conventional career paths.
The programme featured Ms Shraddha D., Recruitment Manager at Teach For India, as Guest of Honour and Facilitator. She was welcomed by faculty members, including Dr Mansoor Alam Siddiqui, who introduced the session, and Mr Amjad, a Teach For India alumnus and AMU graduate.

Sharing her journey in the development sector, Ms Shraddha highlighted the challenges within India’s education system and underscored the fellowship’s mission to ensure quality education for every child. She elaborated on the structure, eligibility criteria, selection process and stipend of the two-year fellowship, while also emphasising the strong alumni network and career support extended to Fellows.
An interactive quiz and question-and-answer session engaged students, with additional inputs from Campus Ambassadors Ms Mahida and Ms Ramsha. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms Asma Khan.
