A Palestinian killed and two injured in an Israeli airstrike in central Gaza.

At least one Palestinian was killed and two others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on a residential house in the central Gaza Strip on Tuesday evening. The attack targeted the Talbani family’s home located in the Al-Khawalda area of Al-Zawayda city.

According to a correspondent from the Palestine Information Center (PIC), following the attack carried out by an Israeli helicopter, one body and two injured people were pulled out from the rubble. The injured were transferred for medical treatment.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Israeli military also carried out airstrikes and artillery shelling in several parts of Gaza. These actions are being viewed as a violation of the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on October 10, 2025.

Eyewitnesses reported that heavy artillery shelling by Israeli forces targeted the outer areas of the Zaytoun and Shuja’iyya neighborhoods, located in the eastern parts of Gaza City. Israeli soldiers are reportedly stationed in these areas. At least one airstrike was also carried out in the same area, although the exact target of that attack could not be immediately confirmed.

According to witnesses, Israeli naval forces also opened fire near the coastal area of Gaza City. In addition, Israeli fighter jets carried out an airstrike in the eastern parts of central Gaza, which fall within areas where Israeli forces are present.

According to local reports, incidents of shelling and gunfire by the Israeli military have been occurring almost daily even after the ceasefire came into effect in October 2025. According to these reports, since the ceasefire was implemented, a total of 648 Palestinians have been killed and 1,728 others have been injured.

The report also states that since October 7, 2023, the ongoing conflict in Gaza has led to widespread destruction, displacement, and casualties. Despite the ceasefire agreement reached on October 10, 2025, tensions and incidents of violence continue in the region.
