AMU to Host International Conference on Emerging Computational Intelligence

The Department of Computer Science, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), will organise the 2nd International Conference on Emerging Computational Intelligence (ICECI-2026) on April 4 and 5, bringing together academicians, researchers, industry experts and students from across the globe.

The conference, technically sponsored by the IEEE Uttar Pradesh Section, will commence with an inaugural session at the Assembly Hall of University Polytechnic. It will feature plenary and technical sessions across ten specialised tracks, with around 75 research papers to be presented by participants from international, national and local institutions.

Chairman of the department, Prof. Arman Rasoor Faridi, said the conference aims to facilitate discussions on recent advancements in computational intelligence and its applications in sustainable digital systems. He added that the second day will include invited talks, a plenary session and the valedictory programme.

The conference will feature keynote and plenary addresses by eminent scholars, including Prof. Dag Øivind Madsen (Norway), Prof. Abdul Quaiyum Ansari (Jamia Millia Islamia), Prof. Muhammad Abulaish (South Asian University), Dr. Iqbal H. Sarker (Australia) and Prof. M. N. Hoda (New Delhi). Invited and industry talks will be delivered by Dr. Maria Lapina (Russia), Dr. Shahid Tufail (USA), Mr. Mohammad Sohail (USA) and Mr. Mehroz Ali Pasha (Noida).
