Embassy of India in Riyadh has issued advisory to Indian nationals residing in Saudi Arabia to remain alert and vigilant and stay indoors as necessary in view of the current situation. In an advisory, the Embassy has urged Indian nationals to refrain from circulating or reposting any videos or news related to the ongoing events. They have been asked to follow the instructions issued by local authorities through official channels.
According to reports, The Embassy of India in Riyadh and the Consulate in Jeddah and its outsourced services through VFS, are continuing to function normally.
The missions will issue further updates and advisories as and when required. The embassy said the 24×7 helpline of the Pravasi Bharatiya Sahayata Kendra remains available to assist Indian nationals. The toll-free number is 8002471234.
