The protesters also demanded that the United States stop its support for Israel. Netanyahu is scheduled to meet with US President Donald Trump during his visit.

According to figures cited from Gaza’s Ministry of Health, Israeli attacks since the ceasefire took effect on October 10 have killed 1,207 Palestinians and injured 3,914 others. During the same period, 803 bodies have reportedly been recovered from beneath the rubble.
Since the beginning of Israel’s offensive on October 7, 2023, the Palestinian death toll in Gaza has risen to 73,333, while 174,023 people have been injured, according to the figures cited in the report.
