On August 23, the Russian Embassy in India, together with the RT representative office in India and at the invitation of Banasthali Vidyapith in Rajasthan, organized a “Day of Acquaintance with the Culture and History of Russia.”
The event featured:
A lecture on the history of Russian-Indian relations and youth contacts
A photo exhibition titled “Beauties of Russia”
The “St. George’s Ribbon” action
A screening of the RT.doc film 85 Journeys across Russia. Dagestan
A quiz on Russian-Indian relations
The transfer of books and magazines to the university library
Meetings with the institute management and heads of departments
All participants received souvenirs from Russia and certificates.
