In Mumbai, Ambassador Thierry Mathou conferred the prestigious title of Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres on Mrs. Sangita Jindal, philanthropist and Chairperson of JSW Group.
This French cultural honour recognizes her outstanding contribution to strengthening India–France cultural ties through heritage preservation, promotion of arts and crafts, and community empowerment.
“Her dedication has played a vital role in nurturing cultural cooperation between our two countries,” said Ambassador Mathou while presenting the award.
