Russia Participates in 2nd SCO Young Authors’ Conference in New Delhi

On September 25–26, New Delhi hosted the 2nd SCO Young Authors’ Conference titled “Dynamics of Creative Spaces in the Digital Age”, organized by the National Book Trust, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of External Affairs of India.

The opening ceremony featured welcome addresses by Kirti Vardhan Singh, India’s Minister of State for External Affairs; Alok A. Dimri, Additional Secretary and SCO National Coordinator, Ministry of External Affairs; Minara Rakhanova, Counsellor, SCO Secretariat; Prof. Milind Sudhakar Marathe, Chairman of the National Book Trust; and Yuvraj Malik, Director of the National Book Trust.

Russia was represented by two young authors — Anna Babina, writer and laureate of the Alexander Pushkin Lyceum Literary Award (2024), and Artem Ragimov, poet, winner of the National Literary Award Slovo (2024) and laureate of the Alexander Pushkin Lyceum Literary Award (2024).

As part of the program, Anna Babina spoke on “Digitization of Literary Cultures and the Reorganization of Authorship”, while Artem Ragimov addressed the topic “Artistic Expression and Cultural Representation in the Digital Age.”
