CHRIST University and Intel Join Hands: IT Minister Sunil Kumar Sharma Unveils Intel AI Lab at Delhi NCR Campus

The School of Sciences at Christ (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR, witnessed a significant milestone with the inauguration of the Intel Artificial Intelligence Lab. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Sunil Kumar Sharma, the Minister for Information Technology and Electronics, Government of Uttar Pradesh, in the presence of Dean & Director, Christ (Deemed to be University), Reverend Dr. Fr. Jossy P. George, Head, School of Sciences, Dr. Bosco Paul Alapatt & Academic Coordinator, School of Sciences, Dr. Ashish Sharma. The facility marks the beginning of a new era in technological education, with distinguished Intel representatives Mr. Suhaas D. and Mr. Abdul Kalam Azad also gracing the occasion.

The Intel Artificial Intelligence Lab, a significant addition to the university’s academic infrastructure, is equipped with 5G servers and advanced technologies aimed at fostering innovation and research among the students of Sciences. This facility will cater to students across all years of the School of Sciences, offering them unparalleled opportunities to engage with emerging technologies.

Intel’s involvement goes beyond mere infrastructure, as the lab will host a series of certificate programs focusing on Generative AI, Cyber Security, High Performance Computing, Cloud Computing, and Quantum Computing.
