Fact Check: A scripted and fake video purportedly shared as a father-daughter duo — getting married — is totally misleading

Claim

An absurd video is going viral among certain social media users. It shows an aged man who claims to have married his daughter. One user shared this viral clip with a caption: Watch this one, more frivolous news, Abdul marries his daughter.

Fact Check

To authenticate the video. Timesheadline.in conducted a reverse image search of a key frame from the viral video. We found a link to a YouTube video uploaded by Raj Thakurrrr on March 5, 2025. Since then, the video has had over 1,482 views. The same video has been shared on his Instagram page with an exact description.

 Clearly, it is a scripted video and not an authentic one, revealing the description.

Conclusion

The fact check by timesheadline.in proves that the viral video is scripted and fake. The video does not depict a real-life incident, since it is a fake video. This kind of marriage dsimply has not taken place. The claim on social media of a father marrying his daughter is false.
