New Delhi, July 4: In celebration of Indo-Spanish cultural connections, the Embassy of Spain hosted a special screening of Sitaare Zameen Par—the Indian adaptation of the internationally renowned Spanish film, Campeones—on July 4th at Siri Fort Auditorium.
The screening also included a meaningful discussion on inclusion and disability-focused cinema with the film’s team and representatives from ETI Services and was further enhanced by the virtual presence of award-winning Spanish actor, Jesús Vidal and acclaimed Indian actor and filmmaker, Aamir Khan.
The evening concluded with a full screening of Sitaare Zameen Par, which perfectly encapsulated the themes of empathy, resilience, and the need for representation in inclusive cinema.
