With the kind support of Istituto Italiano di Cultura di New Delhi and the sponsorship of The Czech Embassy, we opened the enchanting watercolor exhibition “Away to Stay” by famous Czech Canadian artist Kurt Van der Basch.
After twenty years of creating storyboards for Hollywood movies, Kurt devote all his energy and creativity to look on the daily beauty of the amazing country of India, after calling it home for nearly four years. In his lush, story-rich watercolors. he accurately and delicately depicts the quiet poetry, the details, and the cultural depth of India making it come alive in print form.
The evening of the exhibition was a celebration of colour, art, and culture, with everyone doing (and making) amazing connections to their own journeys as they witnessed this great artistic journey.
