The Social Science Club and Literary Club of Jamia Girls Senior Secondary School organized a day of enthusiastic Inter-House activities on August 8, 2025, to exhibit talent, creativity, and analytical mind.
The day started with Frame the Facts: A Social Science Visual Challenge for Classes IX and X, in which students proved to be good observers, interpreters, and analysts through visual aids of History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics.
Judge Ms. Rukhsana Parveen, Headmistress of Mushir Fatma Jamia Nursery School, appreciated the remarkable performances of the students and appreciated the discipline of the school.
During the afternoon, there was an Extempore Competition in Hindi, Urdu, and English for Classes XII and XI with engaging speeches on relevant issues like diet culture, youth rebelliousness, beauty standards, student stress, peer pressure, and the role of literature.
Renowned novelist and journalist Mr. Mohammad Aleem, winner of the Sanskriti Award, adjudged along with Principal Mrs. Anjum Iqbal and PGT English Ms. Zaiba Qureshi. Mr. Aleem complimented the students’ eloquence and richness of ideas, relating his own motivating experiences.
The ceremony ended with the declaration of winners, a joyful celebration of intellect, confidence, and expression.
