Secretary General of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ms. Anne-Marie Descôtes, held the Foreign Office Consultations with her counterpart, India’s Foreign Secretary, Shri Vikram Misri.
Amid recent leaders’ visits, close exchanges, and the upcoming AI Impact Summit in India in 2026, the dialogue further deepened the strategic partnership between India and France on bilateral priorities and global challenges.
Later in the day, they co-chaired an Indo-French Civil Nuclear Energy Special Task Force meeting in New Delhi. The discussions covered the Jaitapur project, advanced technologies including SMR, and underscored nuclear energy’s critical role in ensuring energy security and supporting a low-carbon transition.
