French President Emmanuel Macron emphasized the strategic importance of civil nuclear energy in achieving energy independence, reducing carbon emissions, and strengthening economic competitiveness.
“Together to affirm the key role of civil nuclear energy in our energy independence, decarbonization, and competitiveness,” President Macron stated, highlighting France’s continued focus on nuclear power as a cornerstone of its energy strategy.
The statement was shared with the participation of several French diplomatic missions in India, including the Consulate General of France in Calcutta, the Consulate General of France in Bombay, the Consulate General of France in Pondicherry and Chennai, and the Consulate General of France in Bangalore.
These diplomatic offices continue to engage in discussions and initiatives that promote cooperation and dialogue on sustainable energy and technological collaboration.
