Belarus and India Hold Bilateral Talks Ahead of Key Diplomatic Events

New Delhi, The Ambassador of Belarus to India, M. Kasko, met with H.E. Sibi George, Secretary (West) of the Ministry of External Affairs of India, for a bilateral meeting to discuss the current state and future prospects of Belarus–India cooperation.

During the substantive dialogue, both sides reviewed the ongoing agenda of bilateral relations and preparations for several upcoming high-level engagements. In particular, discussions focused on the forthcoming visit of an Indian delegation to Belarus for the 8th round of inter-ministerial political consultations at the level of Deputy Foreign Ministers.

The meeting also touched upon India’s participation in the 3rd Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security, scheduled to take place in Minsk on October 28–29, 2025.

Both parties reaffirmed the importance of maintaining active dialogue and mutual support in the international arena. They emphasized continued coordination on key global and regional issues to further strengthen the partnership between Belarus and India.
