Embassy of Spain in India Presents “Journey of Life 2” — A Theatrical Homage to Federico García Lorca

New Delhi, November 5 — The Embassy of Spain in India hosted a captivating theatrical performance inspired by Blood Wedding (Bodas de Sangre), the renowned play by Spanish poet and dramatist Federico García Lorca. The event featured students from various New Delhi universities who are currently learning Spanish, showcasing their linguistic and artistic talents on stage.

Titled “Journey of Life 2”, the performance is part of an international cultural initiative that promotes Spanish language learning through the performing arts. The project is organized by the Association of Spanish Teachers in India, in collaboration with several Ibero-American embassies.

The evening celebrated not only the timeless work of Lorca but also the growing cultural exchange between India and the Spanish-speaking world. The Embassy extended its gratitude to the enthusiastic audience and to the dedicated students who brought the play to life, reflecting their passion for both Spanish language and culture.
