New Delhi, Armenia’s Ambassador to India, Vahagn Afyan, participated in a roundtable convened by the Government of Punjab for ambassadors of CIS member states. The discussions focused on opportunities for establishing decentralized cooperation between Punjab and various regions of the Republic of Armenia.
Ambassador Afyan underscored the value of building partnerships in sectors where both sides hold strong potential, including agriculture, pharmaceuticals, information technology, and renewable energy. He also emphasized the importance of strengthening people-to-people connections through cultural festivals and expanded university cooperation.
Participants additionally considered proposals to organize business forums, joint exhibitions, and reciprocal visits between business communities to further enhance economic and institutional ties.
