New Delhi, Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a state visit to India on December 4–5 at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The visit is expected to review the full spectrum of the Russia–India Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership, spanning political cooperation, trade and economic ties, science and technology, and cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
Putin and Modi will hold in-depth discussions that will also cover key international and regional issues. The Russian president is additionally scheduled to meet President Droupadi Murmu.
The two sides are expected to issue a joint statement and sign a series of intergovernmental and business agreements following the talks, reinforcing the strategic depth of bilateral relations.
