A large-scale multimedia exhibition by People’s Artist of Russia and Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Nikas Safronov opened in New Delhi on December 6, showcasing nearly 100 of his works.

The inauguration was attended by India’s Minister of Culture Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Minister of the Moscow Government Sergey Cheremin, and Russian Ambassador to India Denis Alipov.
Ambassador Alipov highlighted that Safronov’s exhibition underscores the enduring strength of Russian-Indian cultural cooperation, noting the long-standing traditions of mutual respect, creative exchange, and appreciation of each other’s heritage.

The exhibition, presented as an interactive “Dream Vision” experience, integrates advanced multimedia technology— including projections, LED and 3D screens, neuro-mirrors, animated paintings, and dynamic lighting. Safronov created the central piece especially for India, drawing on its epics, history, culture, and artistic traditions.

Supported by PJSC Rosneft Oil Company, the exhibition will run at Lalit Kala Akademi in New Delhi until December 21, and will then move to Mumbai’s National Gallery of Modern Art from December 25 to January 15.
