Deputy High Commission of Sri Lanka Thanks Sri Lankan Community in Southern India for Flood Relief Support

The Deputy High Commission of Sri Lanka for Southern India has expressed its heartfelt gratitude to the Sri Lankan community residing in various rehabilitation camps across Southern India for their generous financial contributions and donations of flood relief items to the Sri Lanka Flood Relief Fund.

The Commission acknowledged the valuable support extended by the communities from rehabilitation camps in Gopalasamudram, Gangaikondan, Perumalpuram and Samugarengapuram in Tirunelveli district; Kulathuvaipatty in Tuticorin; Sevaloor, Mottamalai, Anaikuttam, Anupankulam and Mallankinar in Virudhunagar; Perumalpuram, Kolivilai, Gnaramvilai and Palavilai in Kanyakumari; Sankarankoil in Tenkasi; Gummidipoondi in Tiruvallur; Kelavarapalli in Krishnagiri; Kaatumannarkoil in Cuddalore; Pappanthangal in Tiruvannamalai; and Minnur in Tirupattur.

The Deputy High Commission noted that the solidarity and compassion shown by the Sri Lankan community during this critical time have been deeply appreciated and reflect their strong commitment to supporting flood-affected communities in Sri Lanka.
