Shelling on a refugee school in Gaza; six Palestinians, including children, killed.

In the northeastern area of Gaza City, Al-Tuffah, six Palestinian civilians were killed on Friday evening when Israeli artillery shelled a school. The dead included children, and several others were injured in the attack. The school was being used as a shelter for displaced people. The incident has also been described as a violation of the current ceasefire.

According to local sources, the attack took place in the vicinity of the Al-Tuffah school, which is located near Al-Durra Hospital. At the time of the shelling, hundreds of displaced people were present at the school. Some of the bodies were found in severely mutilated condition.

Sources said that Israeli forces prevented ambulances and civil defense teams from reaching the site, causing serious difficulties in evacuating the wounded and transporting the dead. Continuous firing was reported around the school. According to shelter administrators, the attack struck the second floor of the school, where many displaced people had gathered for a wedding ceremony, which led to a higher number of casualties.

Earlier in the day, four people, including a woman, were killed in airstrikes in Bani Suheila (east of Khan Younis). In addition, gunfire and shelling were reported in the al-Alam area west of Rafah and in eastern Khan Younis, while Israeli boats also shelled the coast of Khan Younis.

According to the Ministry of Health, since October 7, 2023, a total of 70,669 people have been killed and 171,165 injured. Since the ceasefire on October 10, 2025, 395 deaths and 1,088 injuries have been recorded, while 634 bodies have been recovered.
