US Ambassador Sergio Gor on Tuesday reiterated Washington’s commitment to strengthening ties with New Delhi, highlighting the growing strategic partnership between the two countries. Speaking to the press during his visit to India in October 2025, the ambassador said the United States deeply values its relationship with India and expressed confidence in the future of bilateral cooperation.
Ambassador Gor attributed his optimism to the strong leadership of President Donald J. Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, noting that their shared vision has helped advance collaboration across key areas such as defence, trade, technology, and regional security. He added that sustained high-level engagement between the two governments is expected to further deepen people-to-people ties and promote mutual economic growth in the years ahead.
