With the India–EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) now in effect, Norwegian companies are set to strengthen their presence and partnerships in India. Leading Norwegian businesses are exploring new opportunities in trade, innovation, and sustainable growth under the framework of the agreement.

The initiative has garnered support from key stakeholders including the Royal Norwegian General Consulate in Mumbai, Innovasjon Norge, the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), the Norway India Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NICCI), and government agencies from both countries. Companies such as Kongsberg Gruppen, ENRX, Elkem, Maritime Montering, Norinco India Pvt. Ltd., and Yara India are among those looking to deepen collaboration and expand operations in India.

The TEPA is expected to enhance economic cooperation, drive innovation partnerships, and open new avenues for Norwegian businesses in one of the world’s fastest-growing markets.
