Kozhikode: Austrian author Anna-Elisabeth Mayer will be a featured speaker at the Kerala Literature Festival (KLF) 2026, participating in a panel discussion that examines the growing influence of artificial intelligence on humanity.
Titled “Are We the Last Human Generation?”, the session will explore how AI is reshaping human thought, creativity, language, ethics, and power structures, and whether these changes pose an opportunity or a threat to the future of mankind.
Mayer will be joined by writers Amrita Mahale and Shamseer Babu for a wide-ranging conversation on the evolving relationship between humans and intelligent machines, and the philosophical and cultural questions arising from this transformation.
The session is scheduled for 23 January 2026, from 10.00 am to 11.00 am, at Aksharam venue, KLF.
Organisers describe the discussion as a timely and thought-provoking engagement that invites audiences to question assumptions and rethink what it means to be human in the age of algorithms.
