Poland–India Academic and Economic Cooperation in Focus

New Delhi:
Head of Mission P. Świtalski met today with Mr. Rao Maddukuri, President of the Poland–India Business Council and Advisor to AGH University of Kraków, for a cordial and forward-looking discussion aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation.

The meeting focused on expanding academic collaboration, particularly between Polish universities and Indian institutions, with an emphasis on research, student exchange, and innovation-driven partnerships. Both sides also exchanged views on economic engagement, highlighting opportunities for closer ties between Polish and Indian businesses in sectors such as technology, education, and industry.

Mr. Maddukuri underlined the growing interest among Indian enterprises and academic institutions in Poland’s higher education and research ecosystem, while Mr. Świtalski reaffirmed Poland’s commitment to deepening people-to-people contacts and fostering sustainable economic partnerships with India.

The interaction reflects the broader momentum in Poland–India relations, where education and trade are increasingly seen as key pillars for long-term cooperation.
