AMU’s Business Administration Department Hosts Interaction with Vision-Aid Leader

ALIGARH, February 9: The Department of Business Administration, Aligarh Muslim University, hosted an interactive academic and humanitarian exchange between Prof Salma Ahmad, Chairperson of the Department, and Dr Syed Ali Rizvi, Director and former President of Vision-Aid, Boston (USA), along with faculty members.

During the interaction, Dr Rizvi shared insights into Vision-Aid’s initiatives aimed at supporting visually impaired individuals, particularly through the use of magnifiers and smart vision glasses. He highlighted the role of innovation combined with compassion in creating meaningful social impact.

Prof Salma Ahmad appreciated Dr Rizvi’s dedication to social service and noted that such engagements offer valuable learning opportunities for faculty and students. She also acknowledged the contribution of Frank Sb towards strengthening infrastructure that supports humanitarian initiatives.

Dr Rizvi expressed satisfaction at engaging with the faculty and commended the work being carried out at AMU, while emphasising the importance of continued collaboration and future partnerships. Prof Ahmad reciprocated these sentiments, reiterating the department’s commitment to social responsibility and community engagement.
