New Delhi, The Russian Embassy in India hosted a solemn reception on Thursday to mark International Women’s Day, celebrating the contributions of women serving at the diplomatic mission.
Russia’s Ambassador to India, Denis Alipov, congratulated the women staff of the embassy on the occasion, describing the day as a warm spring holiday and acknowledging their important role in the functioning of the mission.
In his remarks, the ambassador highlighted the special role and invaluable contribution of female diplomats, technical staff, and the spouses of embassy employees. He noted that their efforts not only support the work of the diplomatic mission but also help maintain an atmosphere of comfort and community even while living far from their homeland.
