JNMC ECHO Newsletter Launched at AMU

ALIGARH: The inaugural edition of JNMC ECHO, a newsletter brought out by the editorial team of the J.N. Medical College Society, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), was formally launched at the Vice Chancellor’s Office.

The launch was presided over by the Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof Mohd. Mohsin Khan. Among those present were Prof. Mohammad Khalid, Dean, Faculty of Medicine; Prof. Anjum Parvez, Principal and CMS, J.N. Medical College; and faculty members including Prof. Nishat Afroz, Prof. Shah Mohammad Abbas Waseem, Dr. Safia Habib and Dr. Jameel Ahmad. Members of the editorial team, including Himali Singh (Editor) and Anika Rumman Rahi (Joint Editor), also attended the event.

Addressing the gathering, Prof. Mohsin Khan described JNMC ECHO as a commendable initiative reflecting the creativity, energy and academic commitment of students. He noted that such platforms not only document institutional activities but also promote a culture of expression, collaboration and excellence.

The newsletter aims to capture the vibrancy of student life at J.N. Medical College, highlighting achievements in academics and co-curricular activities, while documenting campus events and student accomplishments.

The editorial team stated that the publication will be brought out on a quarterly basis, providing a platform for showcasing student contributions in areas such as art, literature and culture.
