ALIGARH, Prof. Mohd. Nafees Ahmad Ansari, Chairman, Department of Political Science, Aligarh Muslim University, has been nominated by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to a national panel of distinguished academicians constituted for the development and evaluation of new course materials aimed at internationalising higher education in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The expert group comprises ten eminent academicians drawn from different regions of the country and has been entrusted with the task of designing practical and policy-oriented courses to promote global academic partnerships, student and faculty exchange programmes, and collaborative research initiatives in Indian universities.
According to the Ministry of Education, the panel will work towards developing innovative and contemporary course content that addresses emerging global educational requirements while strengthening inclusivity, quality and international engagement in higher education.
Prof. Ansari, who is recognised for his contributions to higher education and policy studies, is among the selected experts chosen to contribute to this important national initiative.
