The Czech Republic hosted Bangladesh’s Chief of Army Staff, General Waker-Uz-Zaman, and his delegation for a series of high-level meetings aimed at strengthening bilateral defence ties and expanding military cooperation.
During the visit, discussions focused on military modernization, defence training, and opportunities to enhance collaboration between the armed forces of both countries. The delegation held meetings with senior officials from the Czech Armed Forces, the Ministry of Defence, and representatives of leading Czech defence and aerospace companies.
The engagements showcased the Czech Republic’s defence capabilities and technological expertise while exploring potential partnerships in defence manufacturing, training, and industrial cooperation. The visit is expected to pave the way for closer strategic ties and future defence-industrial collaboration between the Czech Republic and Bangladesh.
