Aligarh, Two research scholars from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) presented their research papers at the two-day International Conference on “Reimagining Higher Education for Sustainability: Quality and Innovative Financing Practices in India and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Countries,” organised by the Centre for West Asian Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
Mr. Manzoor Ahmad, a research scholar in the Department of Linguistics, working under the supervision of Dr. Pallav Vishnu, presented a paper titled “Bridging School and Higher Education: The Role of E-Learning in School-Level English Language Teaching in India.” His presentation explored the potential of e-learning in strengthening English language education at the school level and facilitating a smoother transition to higher education.
Mr. Farham Ali, a research scholar in the Department of Political Science, pursuing his research under the supervision of Prof. Mirza Asmer Beg, presented a paper titled “India’s Maritime Engagement in the Indian Ocean Region and Its Implications for India-GCC Higher Education Cooperation.” The paper examined the intersection of India’s maritime strategy and its growing educational engagement with GCC countries.
Prof. M. J. Warsi, Chairperson, Department of Linguistics, congratulated Mr. Manzoor Ahmad on his presentation and appreciated his contribution to research in English language teaching. Prof. Mohd. Nafees Ahmad Ansari, Chairperson, Department of Political Science, congratulated Mr. Farham Ali on presenting his research at the international conference and wished him continued success in his academic pursuits.
