The Otandastar Foundation has announced an international online drawing contest titled “Kazakhstan Through My Eyes,” inviting ethnic Kazakh children living abroad to express their connection with Kazakhstan through art.
The contest is open to ethnic Kazakh children between the ages of 12 and 17, providing young participants with an opportunity to showcase their creativity and personal perspectives on Kazakhstan.
Interested participants can submit their artwork via email at oqbaiqau@gmail.com. The deadline for submissions is August 28, 2026.
The organisers have also announced that winners of the contest will receive valuable prizes. The initiative aims to encourage young ethnic Kazakhs living abroad to explore their cultural roots and strengthen their connection with their homeland through creative expression.
